About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Field Leadership and Culture: Lead by example a highly distributed team (approx. 90 employees including direct and indirect reports), acting as an ethical reference to ensure psychological safety and maintain high squad engagement (NPS).
  • Execution Management: Ensure the designed strategy is correctly executed at the frontline, guaranteeing excellence in sales fundamentals (price, availability, planogram compliance and visibility) across Food, Pharmacy, Cash & Carry and other channels.
  • Tactical Intelligence and Feedback: Serve as the link between operations and strategy, validating the effectiveness of point-of-sale merchandising materials (POSM) and feeding Trade and Marketing with real field data to adjust routes and plans.
  • Performance and ROI: Shift the area’s perception from a "cost center" to an "investment lever," implementing KPIs and analyses that demonstrate the financial return (ROI) of execution actions and promoter activities.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain an intensive routine of visits and relationship-building with key accounts (e.g., Raia, DPSP), resolving operational bottlenecks on-site and identifying growth opportunities on the shop floor.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Field Experience: Proven experience with store/POS visits (practical knowledge of planograms, shelf share, out-of-stock and merchandising).
  • Leadership of Large Teams: Previous experience leading operational teams.
  • Multichannel Vision: Strong understanding of Sell-Out dynamics in Food, Pharmacy and Cash & Carry channels.
  • Hybrid Skillset (Strategy + Hands-On): Analytical ability to discuss ROI and P&L, combined with willingness to solve tactical in-store issues.
  • Location: Residence in São Paulo (Capital) and availability for frequent visits.
