About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Open Innovation & Partnerships: Develop and strengthen innovation ecosystems, connecting the company with strategic partners such as startups, universities, hubs and ICTs. Conduct active partner scouting, manage existing relationships and operationalize innovation challenges on crowdsourcing platforms. Also support the implementation of department events.
Intellectual Property & Contracts: Negotiate intellectual property terms and financial considerations in low- to medium-complexity partnerships. Support the structuring and management of contracts and collaboration agreements, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines.
Funding: Provide support for initiatives aimed at securing and managing public and private funding.
Management and Processes: Structure and maintain up-to-date documentation for initiatives, populate internal tracking systems, monitor department indicators and prepare analyses and management reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Law or related fields.
Experience: Previous experience in open innovation, partnership management, R&D or related areas.
Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Brazilian innovation ecosystem (startups, hubs, universities) and experience with project management and data analysis tools.
Skills: Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, proactive and organized profile, analytical thinking with strategic vision, adaptability to dynamic environments, and effective communication and negotiation skills.
Differentials (Desired): Experience negotiating contracts and/or managing intellectual property in innovation contexts. Familiarity with funding programs (such as FINEP, EMBRAPII, public calls). Experience in the cosmetics, pharmaceutical or consumer goods sectors. Previous involvement in structured open innovation programs, challenges and hubs. Experience organizing innovation events and engagement programs. Language: Intermediate or advanced English.
