About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Technical and strategic leadership:
- Translate the company’s and channel’s strategic directives into the Design team’s context and planning, demonstrating rigor and sound judgment to prioritize topics, allocate resources, and make coherent, decisive decisions.
- Lead the maturation of design practices, constantly pursuing excellence and efficiency.
- Lead the Design team’s strategies on cross-Value Stream topics, focusing on scale and governance.
- Define and guide the methodological pillars of design, ensuring consistency and quality across all deliverables.
- Act as the technical reference for design craft within the core team, inspiring and raising the team’s level of expertise.
- Monitor and influence the definition of product visions, aligning them with business objectives and user needs.
Communication, influence and impact:
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders at various levels.
- Communicate the progress of initiatives, providing visibility and transparency to design processes.
- Exert cross-functional influence, positively impacting different areas and projects.
Analysis and continuous improvement:
- Propose, monitor and analyze experience metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement or innovative solutions.
- Enable experiments and research; analyze and report data autonomously and confidently, highlighting opportunities and generating empirical evidence for tactical and strategic decision-making.
- Conduct in-depth research, mappings and workshops to deepen understanding of user needs and market trends.
Design thinking and collaboration:
- Facilitate workshops, promoting design as an enabler of the company’s and channel’s strategies.
Mentorship and leadership:
- Mentor and support the development of other Product Designers, promoting team growth.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep knowledge of design methodological pillars, such as:
. Heuristics and usability
. Information architecture
. Visual hierarchy
. Accessibility (WCAG)
. Research (quantitative and qualitative)
. Metrics-driven iteration
Strong technical and strategic leadership capabilities.
Excellent communication, presentation and persuasion skills.
Ability to collaborate with team members and various stakeholders.
Data analysis skills and the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
Proficiency with design and co-creation tools (Figma, Maze, Miro, etc.).
Knowledge of market trends and emerging technologies.
Experience with Service Design (directional toward a holistic, interdisciplinary vision).
Experience with Growth (directional toward continuous learning).
