About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the strategy, flow architecture design, and evolution plan for the integration and maintenance of payment systems (TEF, POS) with the Group's points of sale.
Direct the governance of terminal certification/approval processes and the architecture of observability, telemetry, and operational KPI solutions for the area.
Conduct complex investigations of structural systemic issues (RCA), defining permanent solutions to mitigate transactional risks and financial losses.
Influence and align technical and product decisions across management, executive leadership, card schemes/arrangements, and third-party vendors.
Promote product-agile best practices, supporting teams in translating strategic visions into effective plans and breaking down initiatives into actionable deliverables.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven senior/specialist experience as a Business Tech Specialist, Solutions Architect, or similar role focused on transactional platforms.
Deep expertise in physical payment flows: TEF topologies, communication with points of sale (POS), acquirer certifications, and POS/SmartPOS hardware.
Track record of matrix technical leadership in large-scale projects or restructuring of high-criticality payment platforms.
Strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to independently mobilize collaborative networks.
