Key responsibilities & impact

Implement the best backend solutions for our applications, always prioritizing quality, performance, best programming practices, simplicity, and the best user experience for our products.
Develop, write unit and automated tests, deploy, and monitor what has been developed (in addition to ensuring quality and adhering to best programming practices).
Improve applications by identifying opportunities for enhancement, making recommendations, and designing and implementing systems.
Improve system quality by identifying recurring issues and patterns, and by developing standard operating procedures.
Maintain, improve, and review existing code through Code Review and Pair Programming.
Maintain strong working relationships while seeking innovative solutions for projects, collaborating effectively, and communicating well.
Research and adopt new technologies when relevant.
Keep documentation up to date.
Be passionate about problem solving and finding viable solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience developing with Node.js.
Experience developing RESTful APIs.
Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
Knowledge of quality best practices such as TDD, BDD, and SOLID.
Knowledge of object-oriented or functional programming.
Experience working in agile teams (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Ability to work autonomously in a cross-functional, multi-language, and collaborative environment.
Pragmatic approach to problem solving.
Experience with code versioning (GitHub).
