About the role

  • Develop robust, scalable, and efficient backend solutions.
  • Propose improvements to architecture, quality, and performance.
  • Ensure clear and up-to-date documentation of systems.
  • Interact with different teams involved in projects to define and maintain solutions.
  • Work in agile squads, aligning deliveries with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in backend development with Node.js.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP), including serverless services and AWS Lambda.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and object-oriented design.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and event-driven architecture (pub/sub, Kafka).
  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Familiarity with version control on GitHub (use of GitHub Copilot is a plus).
  • Experience with CI/CD and system integration.
  • Knowledge of caching solutions (Redis), authentication with JWT/tokens, and monitoring tools (Splunk, New Relic).
  • Practice in unit, integration, security, and regression testing.
  • Good interpersonal communication, ability to work in a team, and enthusiasm for agile culture.
  • Commitment to quality best practices (clean code, clean architecture).
  • Preferred:
  • Experience with Finance and/or Cashback systems/solutions.
  • Knowledge of event-driven programming and micro-frontends.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Creation and execution of triggers, functions, and procedures in relational databases.
  • Optimization of queries and processes in databases.
  • Support in designing the architecture of new components or services.
