About the role

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic planning for transportation and intralogistics categories, ensuring alignment with the company's global objectives and ESG targets;
  • High-Complexity Negotiations: Lead negotiation rounds for critical contracts, securing the best total cost of ownership (TCO), lead times, legal safeguards, and quality conditions;
  • Consultative Interface: Act as a business partner to operational areas, ensuring synergy, deadline adherence, and strict Compliance monitoring;
  • Performance Management: Monitor and report strategic KPIs, identify operational bottlenecks and propose action plans using PDCA for continuous optimization of the supplier base;
  • Market Intelligence and Risk Management: Map market trends, anticipate supply chain risks and introduce innovations that deliver competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree (Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields). Postgraduate degree or MBA is a plus;
  • Experience: Solid background in Logistics Procurement, covering freight/transport contracting and intralogistics services/equipment;
  • Methodologies: Technical mastery required in TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and Should Cost;
  • Systems: Experience with large-scale ERPs (e.g., SAP MM);
  • Tools: Advanced proficiency in analysis and presentation tools (Google Sheets/Slides or Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint);
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver executive-level presentations;
  • Languages: English or Spanish is desirable (advantageous for interfacing with global partners).
