About the role
- Lead cash flow discussions and financial views (Income Statement / DRE) for expansion and project initiatives.
- Build business case models and diagnose opportunities related to the financial health of points of sale (POS).
- Lead the investment agenda for the franchise network.
- Problem Structuring: Apply problem-solving frameworks to break down complex challenges within footprint initiatives.
- Data Interpretation and Insights: Act as a translator between complex data and business decisions, ensuring clarity around risks and opportunities and rigor in return assumptions and the P&L for each initiative.
- Storytelling and Executive Presentation: Synthesize dense analyses into executive presentations with clear, persuasive narratives to facilitate decision-making by Executive Directors.
- Orchestrate alignment across functions to ensure the designed strategy is operationally feasible.
- Define and track success metrics for initiatives to ensure strategy is connected to execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (completed).
- Advanced SQL skills and experience manipulating and structuring large volumes of data (preferably Google BigQuery).
- Previous experience preferably in strategy consulting or in Strategic Planning/New Business areas at large companies.
- Strong knowledge of Income Statement (DRE/P&L), cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Analytical capability, with business and consumer insight.
- Organized profile with strong communication, stakeholder management, and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple interfaces/stakeholders.
- Experience in retail or consumer goods is desirable.
- Experience building and presenting executive-level materials (director level).
- Willingness to travel.
