About the role
- **What is our Design team?**
- If you have experience in the design market, enjoy working end-to-end on the development of a digital product and influencing strategic decisions, this is the place for you!
- **On Grupo Boticário’s Product Design team, you will work alongside developers, PMs and a Squad Leader, acting as the design competency reference and the user advocate for our digital products. You will have the opportunity to perform all Product Designer activities, from conception to prototyping, validation and testing. As a Product Designer in the Direct Sales Value Stream, our priority is to digitize Grupo Boticário’s resellers, offering purchasing and engagement experiences across digital channels to increase productivity, omnichannel presence and satisfaction.**
- **What will your day-to-day look like?**
- **Research and analysis:**
- Have full competence to plan, conduct and analyze quantitative and qualitative research (surveys, moderated and unmoderated usability tests, in-depth interviews, etc.).
- Identify users’ pain points and needs, turning them into actionable insights for product development.
- Analyze data and metrics to find opportunities for continuous improvement and UX optimization.
- **Design and execution:**
- Create experiences applying the methodological pillars of design, such as heuristics and usability, information architecture, visual hierarchy, accessibility best practices and guidelines (WCAG), quantitative and qualitative research, and metrics-driven iteration.
- Have autonomy to write clear and concise copy (content) optimized for the user experience.
- Collaborate with development, product and business teams to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.
- **Communication and influence:**
- Communicate design decisions clearly and concisely, advocating for the user’s perspective and the value of design.
- Influence business objectives by demonstrating how design can help achieve organizational goals.
- Represent the design discipline in technical discussions, sharing knowledge and promoting design best practices.
- **Design thinking and collaboration:**
- Lead workshops and other co-creation processes, promoting design as a driver of company and channel strategies.
- **Autonomy and cross-functional vision:**
- Connect business and user needs to ensure technical applicability. Influence prioritization of the most valuable activities and discuss the product backlog.
- Act autonomously in design decision-making, ensuring execution of strategies and alignment with company objectives.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure the user vision is considered at every stage of product development.
Requirements
- **What do you need to have or know?**
- Full command of UX/UI, including research (qualitative and quantitative), information architecture, content, interaction, and facilitation methods.
- Autonomy and mastery to run discoveries and experiments.
- Proficiency with design and co-creation tools (Figma, Maze, Miro, etc.).
- Experience using design systems and applying accessibility concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and make evidence-based decisions.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to connect design to business objectives.
- **It will be a plus if you have:**
