About the role

  • Implement best full-stack solutions for our applications, always focusing on quality, performance, programming best practices, simplicity, and an excellent user experience for our products.
  • Develop, write unit tests, deploy, and monitor what you build (in addition to ensuring quality and adherence to best coding practices).
  • Improve applications by identifying opportunities for enhancement, making recommendations, designing, and implementing systems.
  • Improve system quality by identifying common issues and patterns, and by developing standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain, improve, and review existing code through Code Review and Pair Programming.
  • Maintain good working relationships and seek innovative solutions for projects by collaborating effectively and communicating well.
  • Research and adopt new technologies when relevant.
  • Keep documentation up to date.
  • Be passionate about problem solving and finding practical solutions.

Requirements

  • Languages: Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript.
  • Frameworks: NestJS, AWS Lambda (serverless), React, styled-components.
  • Cloud: AWS and Azure (Azure DevOps only).
  • Database: PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge of microservices.
  • Knowledge of containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of quality best practices.
  • Knowledge of observability tools (New Relic, CloudWatch).
  • Advantage: experience with digital and data products.
