About the role
- Will be the focal point responsible for the implementation track of the Employee Central Payroll module
- Monitor the consulting firm responsible for implementation, ensuring best practices and full utilization of the module
- Gather and analyze payroll requirements with key users/consultants, taking into account current labor and tax legislation
- Map process interfaces with other areas such as Health, Occupational Safety, Time & Attendance, and Accounting
- Align process designs with other SAP SuccessFactors modules, other solutions and/or processes
- Ensure smooth integration between Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP), as well as with legacy or third-party systems (finance, accounting, etc.)
- Act as intermediary with the business area to coordinate process mapping workshops, manage open issues and gaps; understand customization needs and map impacts
- Ensure that all ECP configuration fully complies with complex Brazilian labor and tax legislation (eSocial, statutory obligations, taxation, etc.)
- Support the mapping of test scenarios
- Perform unit testing before release to the business team, ensuring the expected quality for business testing and process integrations
- Monitor the parallel payroll run to validate payroll accuracy and functionality
- Support data migration for the module
- After project Go-Live, maintain the AMS for the Employee Central Payroll module, manage releases and roadmap evolution, and configure schemas and rules, payroll calculations, income tax, social contributions, payroll benefits, eSocial, among other activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience: minimum of 10 years of solid Payroll experience in an SAP HCM environment
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll expertise: participation in at least one full implementation cycle of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP)
- Integration: experience in integrating EC and ECP
- Deep knowledge: full command of schema configuration, rules, operations and payroll wage types
- Brazilian legislation: strong practical and theoretical knowledge of payroll calculation rules, social charges and tax obligations in the Brazilian context
- Desirable knowledge of tools such as SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)/SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
- Desirable knowledge of Payroll Control Center (PCC)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related fields.
