About the role
- Build and ensure compliance with the maintenance plan for equipment in the corporate utilities area;
- Technical responsibility for NR-10 with active CREA registration and management of NR-13;
- Perform technical management of utilities assets;
- Provide technical and functional support to the entire team in electrical and equipment maintenance;
- Act as support on topics related to electrical energy and utilities equipment;
- Provide technical support for specific topics related to energy and equipment within the group;
- Support analysis of critical problems, developing root cause analysis studies and problem-solving actions;
- Develop studies/projects aimed at the best technical and economic solutions for improvement opportunities (safety and productivity, meeting the requirements and needs of the requesting department);
- Study, propose or determine modifications to projects, installations, and equipment in operation by analyzing manufacturing issues, operational failures or the need for technological improvements to ensure optimal performance and safety of electrical equipment and installations, within change management methodologies;
- Technically support the review of plant maintenance plans and seek standardization of activities and spare parts;
- Technically evaluate potential changes that arise in different factory scenarios, respecting their particularities;
- Provide technical follow-up on specific (non-routine) topics where supervisors and coordinators consider specialized technical monitoring necessary;
- Serve as a communication link between the Engineering and Maintenance departments, participating in studies of expansion, retrofit, technology replacement and general changes in the plant related to their areas of responsibility, aiming for adherence to equipment standardization and technological updates, aligned with Strategic Block concepts;
- Prepare execution plans for projects where their specialty is required, drafting sketches and specifications, comparing budgets and taking technical positions, indicating materials to be used and assembly methods to be followed, guiding implementation;
- Contribute to project approvals and resource releases by preparing justifications and technical and economic feasibility analyses to guide decision-making processes;
- Daily evaluation of energy consumption and quality indicators supplied by utilities, and topics related to the Free Energy Market, aiming to anticipate possible impacts and financial gains for the group as early as possible;
- Study, develop and implement solutions aimed at optimized use of energy resources;
- Evaluation of corporate legal requirements;
- Follow-up on special works involving High Voltage (incoming lines and substations);
- Technical responsibility for NR-10 (Safety in Electrical Installations and Services), acting as guardian of the topic and critical promoter of field situations, ensuring appropriate equipment is correctly registered in the maintenance system;
- Technical responsibility for NR-13 (establishing minimum requirements for management of structural integrity of boilers, pressure vessels, piping and metallic storage tanks, aiming at worker safety and accident prevention in industry);
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering with active CREA registration;
- Ability to lead, inspire, motivate and develop teams;
- Capacity to plan team-based work;
- Desirable experience in maintenance, instrumentation and supervisory systems (preferably in large industries);
- Skills in leading third-party teams and integrating with other departments;
- Multidisciplinary skills;
- Self-management;
- NR-10 and NR-13 (desirable);
- Availability to travel.
