About the role
- Define and design navigation flows autonomously, anticipating edge cases and always considering platform, device, and the user’s cognitive load for completing the task;
- Be proficient with discovery tools and know how to apply them to ensure the best information architecture design at different stages of a project (mind maps, information inventory, card sorting, tree testing, co-creation dynamics);
- Understand the pillars of information architecture (content, user, and context) and apply these principles across all projects;
- Balance written and visual communication, producing clear, concise content focused on the user’s perspective;
- Define microcopy for buttons, CTAs and messages such as confirmations, tooltips, search fields, notifications, and error messages, as well as designs for conversational flows;
- Deliver outstanding outputs in usability concepts, heuristics, and navigation patterns;
- Deliver prototypes using responsive grids, applying components from Grupo Boticário’s Design System (GB) and respecting brand guidelines;
- Articulate and defend visual decisions when handing specifications to your squad’s development team;
- Lead workshops and other co-creation processes;
- Bridge business and user needs to produce technically applicable solutions. Influence prioritization of the most valuable activities and participate in product backlog discussions;
- Be knowledgeable about key accessibility concepts and act as a champion of accessibility within the squad and the UX Chapter;
- Autonomously conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, using data to inform decisions;
- Use metrics to support strategic design decisions and to uncover opportunity insights.
Requirements
- Experience as a Product Designer applying concepts of Information Architecture, Visual Design, UX Writing, qualitative and quantitative research, and facilitation methods;
- Mastery of discovery and experimentation techniques;
- A data-driven design mindset (Data-Driven Design);
- Experience using Design Systems and applying accessibility principles;
- Knowledge of product development and technical aspects to ensure proper applicability of proposed solutions, using agile concepts;
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma;
- Experience in Service Design.
