About the role
- The VMO (Vendor Management Office) area is responsible for managing relationships with the Grupo Boticário’s technology suppliers. We are organized into three main teams:
- Strategic Partnerships: aimed at generating efficiency and driving strategic discussions in procurements within VMO’s pipeline.
- Contract Management: orchestrating the contract formalization process, ensuring legal compliance, adherence to internal policies, and improving legal efficiency in drafting contract clauses.
- Performance: focused on generating insights and connecting themes to improve the team's effectiveness and the management of technology contracts.
- The VMO Specialist I will be part of the Performance team and will be responsible for developing financial performance views of technology contracts, maintaining and strengthening synergy with the financial planning team. The role also involves building the area’s operating plan, preparing presentations and executive memos, and measuring supplier and team performance and efficiency.
- Your responsibilities include the following areas of work:
- Ensure the reliability, accuracy and traceability of financial data for the main tech suppliers (Actual vs. Budget);
- Prepare executive reports and dynamic dashboards to monitor the financial and operational performance of major tech supplier contracts;
- Act as a strategic focal point for Tech and Financial Planning (FP&A) teams, supporting budget assumptions, forecast reviews and contract reconciliations;
- Actively and collaboratively work to improve the efficiency of the capitalization (CapEx) process for tech contracts;
- Perform advanced financial analyses to support decision-making, including TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), PVM (Price, Volume and Mix) and scenario building for Business Cases;
- Support the development of negotiation and renewal strategies based on historical data and market benchmarks, in partnership with VMO Strategic Partnerships, Procurement and other areas;
- Prepare presentations and executive memos for senior Technology management (both preparation and delivery);
- Define, monitor and manage supplier performance measurement criteria (KPIs) in coordination with the business areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree completed;
- Strong experience in financial management (Opex and Capex), budget cycle (Budget/Forecast) and variance analysis;
- Strong experience in building executive and management reports and dashboards;
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and experience with data visualization tools (Tableau or Looker);
- Knowledge of Technology Contract Management (SaaS, Cloud, Services) and pricing models is a plus;
- Experience in supplier relationship and performance management is a plus.
