About the role

  • Your role will be pivotal in managing and evolving the SAP environment for Finance, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business needs.
  • Actively work to guarantee and optimize the full software lifecycle (Development, Operations and Support) for the Finance area, ensuring system stability and continuous improvement.
  • Proactively seek system solutions and process improvements to add business value. This includes actively monitoring trends and technological developments to recommend and implement innovations.
  • Lead the technical design, configuration and deployment of robust SAP solutions based on best practices and the resolution of complex problems.
  • Maintain close, consultative contact with users (Key Users) to improve applications and data quality, transforming challenges into clear and effective specifications.
  • Maintain strategic alignment, ensuring full adherence to IT policies, standards and processes, acting as a multiplier of knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Key Users, Tech and vendors), focusing on identifying and leading solutions, preparing system specifications, quality assurance, development and deployment.

Requirements

  • Deep experience in SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) in Financial processes (FI/CO modules).
  • Be an SAP ECC or S/4 Finance specialist in Core modules (New GL, AR, AP, AA).
  • Experience in conversion and/or implementation projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, using the SAP Activate methodology or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of process/business flows in industrial and/or distribution sectors.
  • Ability to drive improvements, taking responsibility for end-to-end problem resolution.
  • Strong analytical skills to investigate problems thoroughly, challenge processes and pursue the most robust solution.
  • Easy interaction with other areas, vendors and third parties and ability to build trusted relationships, acting as an internal consultant.
  • Experience working in agile, collaborative teams.
  • Ability to operate with autonomy.
  • - Differential:
  • Experience in Management Accounting (Controlling - CO) or other SAP Finance components.
  • Practical experience with Workflow and debugging (reading) skills for analysis and problem resolution.
  • Experience or familiarity with SAP Fiori to improve the user experience.
