Tax Specialist — Accounting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform review of direct and indirect taxes;
- Analyze and interpret tax legislation at federal, state and municipal levels;
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure their correct application;
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization and mitigation of tax risks;
- Conduct complex tax studies and review tax planning;
- Serve as a strategic partner to the accounting and legal teams;
- Support internal and external audits;
- Provide guidance to internal areas and technically lead the tax and accounting team;
- Perform related activities.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- Advanced Excel skills;
- Active CRC registration (Regional Accounting Council license);
- Knowledge of tax reform;
- Experience in tax research and analysis.
