About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure the maintenance, evolution, and resilience of database environments in a critical 24x7 operation;
Lead highly complex initiatives, ensuring data performance, availability, and governance;
Play an active role in technical decision-making, architecture definition, handling critical incidents, and continuous environment improvement;
Work collaboratively with infrastructure, development, and architecture teams;
Design and implement complex data architectures;
Lead database migration and modernization projects;
Define security and compliance policies;
Manage critical incidents and disaster recovery;
Perform other related activities.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Deep knowledge of DBMSs (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB);
Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP);
Certifications such as OCP, MCSA, etc.;
Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian Data Protection Law), ISO 27001, and security best practices;
Oracle certifications (OCP, OCM) and MCSA;
Experience with multi-cloud environments (particularly Oracle Cloud Infrastructure);
Experience with governance, audit, and compliance processes (e.g., ISO 27001, ITIL);
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Grafana);
Experience in high-volume, high-criticality operational environments;
Leadership profile, with the ability to influence decisions and guide the team.
