About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan activities related to data governance such as data cataloging, data quality, and data security;
Support and guide business areas in defining data owners and their responsibilities;
Assist in creating policies, standards, and procedures for the correct and secure use of data;
Promote awareness and engagement about the importance of data governance;
Monitor and analyze key indicators of the analytics environment to drive improvements;
Support the definition of strategic objectives for data governance aligned with business priorities;
Collaborate with data leaders to direct actions that increase the organization's data maturity.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong experience in data governance, policy, and process management;
Experience with modern data architectures (data lake, data lakehouse, etc.);
Knowledge of data quality, security, and compliance strategies;
Ability to work with stakeholders and promote a data-driven culture;
Familiarity with governance frameworks is desirable (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK);
Experience in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Oracle, Snowflake);
Knowledge of data architecture and integration with engineering and analytics teams;
Certifications related to data governance or data management.
