About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with POS providers, payment companies, delivery platforms, hospitality technology vendors, and industry associations.
- Create joint go-to-market initiatives that generate qualified sales opportunities.
- Represent Grubtech at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums across the UK.
- Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Leadership teams to execute commercial initiatives.
- Recruit, mentor, and support future Sales and Partnership team members as the UK business grows.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene while providing market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Partner with the leadership team to align sales objectives with company goals and market needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5-8 years experience in B2B SaaS Sales, Partnerships, or Business Development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in a food-tech ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
- Experience building and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue.
- Strong understanding of the UK hospitality technology ecosystem.
- Existing network within restaurants, hospitality groups, POS providers, or technology partners is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
