About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze complex datasets from various sources to identify meaningful trends, patterns, and insights
  • Apply statistical techniques and methodologies to extract actionable information
  • Develop data-driven insights and recommendations that address business challenges, improve processes, and drive growth
  • Translate analytical findings into clear and concise business implications
  • Design, develop, and maintain insightful reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using Tableau or other data visualization tools to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Build and enhance financial models to forecast business performance, evaluate strategic initiatives, and support decision-making
  • Present analytical findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs, define analytical projects, and provide ongoing support
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for optimization
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality, streamline analysis, and increase efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role or in a highly analytical and technical internship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and financial modeling capabilities
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL, with experience in querying, data manipulation, and database management
  • Proven experience using data visualization tools, with a strong preference for Tableau
  • Solid understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation techniques
  • Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and forecasting
  • Familiarity with Python, R, or other statistical programming languages is a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
