District Sales Manager
GROW WITH USDistrict Sales Manager developing strategic relationships with agents regarding ProAg’s insurance offerings in Nebraska. Driving business growth and supporting agent accounts as a trusted advisor.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a strategic territory plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents regarding ProAg’s insurance offerings
- Drive additional business through various means including agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence
- Meet or exceed sales goals for both existing and new business within Nebraska, along with developing and maintaining a database of current and prospective agents
- Serve as a primary relationship owner, trusted advisor, and point of contact for assigned agent accounts
- Become a subject-matter expert on ProAg’s products, business, and applications
- Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify trends and changes in the marketplace
- Collaborate with internal resources as necessary to prepare and deliver training or educational events
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least two years of sales experience, crop insurance experience preferred
- Must be an exceptional communicator with the ability to facilitate cross-functionally
- Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable area of the Company’s business
- Required to travel outside normal work location, travel is up to 75%
- Must have the ability to work independently, focusing on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy to succeed
- The ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies.
