About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead tender processes for the category: understand requirements, identify value-analysis levers, define the supplier panel, evaluate offers, negotiate, make recommendations and select awards.
- Support service performance to accompany the business (quality, supply chain, etc.).
- Define and drive the supplier panel strategy: identify competent market players as an expert of the upstream value chain; set and uphold the appropriate level of requirements with suppliers; ensure continuous improvement of the panel’s overall performance.
- Contribute to the financial management of the category: budgets and estimates, including monitoring risks and opportunities.
- Pursue ongoing cost optimization and identify savings and productivity levers.
- Contribute to the overall performance of the procurement function (CSR/sustainability, robustness/resilience, procurement best practices, etc.).
Requirements
What you’ll need- You hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) from a business school / IAE or an engineering school with a specialization in Purchasing, with initial experience, or you have significant experience in a similar role.
- You are proficient in English, project management, operational excellence (service and quality), and negotiation techniques.
- You have an analytical mindset combined with financial skills and problem‑solving / methodological abilities.
- You have basic contractual and legal knowledge.
- You are recognized for excellent verbal communication, the ability to challenge to optimize performance, being proactive and responsive, having a strategic vision and the capacity to deploy it, and teamwork spirit.
