About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate active ingredient projects for Groupe Rocher brands in collaboration with marketing, scientific experts and external suppliers
Actively contribute to the selection of actives for each development project, taking into account marketing briefs, market innovations in cosmetic actives and the criteria defined with the Head of Active Sourcing
Provide technical support on actives throughout development (technical support for active efficacy, formulation, regulatory compliance, etc.)
Serve as the operational contact for suppliers on development projects and active ingredient scouting
Contribute to active ingredient innovation by identifying high-performing, innovative and sustainable actives in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams through structured trend monitoring of cosmetic actives

Requirements

What you’ll need

You hold a Master’s degree or engineering degree (Bac+5) in chemistry, biology or cosmetology and ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in active ingredient project management in the cosmetics sector
You have solid knowledge of cosmetic active ingredients and master methods for evaluating actives (in vitro and in vivo efficacy tests, stability, compatibility, etc.)
You have knowledge of skin biology and hair science
You have project management skills, are rigorous, organized, analytical and able to synthesize information, and possess good critical thinking
You enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams (R&D, formulation, marketing, etc.) and have a positive, collaborative mindset that enables you to act as an interface between multiple stakeholders
You are committed to sustainability principles and responsible sourcing
