About the role

  • Within the Operations Department and reporting to the Agency Director, the Project Director is responsible for the overall management of the projects and the project managers assigned to them.
  • They are responsible for all teams dedicated to site operations and construction delivery.
  • Contribute to the preparation of commercial bids in coordination with the technical studies team and the business development department.
  • Functional management and leadership of the operational teams under their responsibility (project managers, site managers), ensuring the correct application of operational processes.
  • Participate in the recruitment process for project managers and site managers.
  • Ensure project revenue and margins are achieved, on schedule and according to client quality standards.
  • Contribute to project financial management and operational reporting to the agency and operations management.
  • Manage relationships with subcontractors, particularly during the tender/consultation phase.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of partnerships with contractors and engineering/design firms.
  • Prepare and lead operational meetings and client steering committee (COPIL) sessions.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or a Master’s specialized in construction (BTP) with proven significant experience in project or site management.
  • Experience in overall management of the production cycle, from design/tendering through to delivery.
  • Hierarchical and functional management of senior staff (project managers, site managers).
  • Strong knowledge of P&L, margin protection, revenue and agency financial reporting.
  • Experience in tendering and coordination of subcontractors, engineering consultancies and architects.
  • Ability to make decisions and adapt to site contingencies and stakeholder dynamics.
  • Ability to unite diverse profiles and to lead high-level client steering committees.
  • Ability to manage collaboration among project stakeholders to ensure quality and deadlines.
