About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Quickly diagnose faults and malfunctions on equipment.
- Consult knowledge bases to identify appropriate solutions.
- Repair defective equipment and apply testing procedures at each stage.
- Install new hardware and deploy required software.
- Anticipate failures by performing master image creation and deployment, backups, and setting up alert systems.
- Provide follow-up and user support to ensure optimal operation.
- Record the receipt and return of equipment dynamically.
- Place equipment orders and monitor remote stock levels.
- Track interventions in the OMTI, produce reports and close tickets.
- Communicate with your team leader in case of malfunctions, delays, or specific issues.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Education: Vocational diploma (Bac Pro) to Bac+3, such as BTS or DUT in computer systems and software, or proven experience in the IT sector.
- Autonomous and professional, with good stress management.
- Rigour and adherence to internal guidelines and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of networking, Wi‑Fi, and Windows 7 and 10 operating systems.
- Experience in the retail environment, notably with POS systems, customer displays and the network/back-office side.
- Knowledge of Apple iOS (tablets) and server operating systems, whether virtualized or physical.
