About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the cash positions of various entities in development and participate in monthly capital calls to investors;
Coordinate monthly financing requests;
Prepare financial analysis reports and perform various monthly variance analyses and ad hoc analyses;
Present monthly cost tracking reports to senior management;
Prepare quarterly and annual reports for investors;
Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements;
Assist accounting technicians with journal entries.

Requirements

What you’ll need

CPA designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) required;
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance;
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role or experience in a public accounting firm;
Experience in Construction Accounting and/or Real Estate Development, or complementary experience is an asset;
Experience with the full accounting cycle (budgeting, financial statements, year-end file, monthly variance analysis);
Strong Excel skills;
Knowledge of Maestro software (asset);
Proactive and energetic approach to task execution;
Demonstrates rigor and attention to detail in task execution;
Good organizational and planning skills;
Strong sense of responsibility and initiative;
Ability to work effectively in a team and to engage and align colleagues;
Familiarity with bank transfer platforms is an asset.
