About the role
- Support the implementation of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) across the region
- Promote and raise awareness within health and social care establishments and services (ESMS)
- Facilitate the local network and drive AAC projects
- Support professionals in ESMS in implementing AAC approaches
- Ensure adherence to the participation model
- Share best practices and contribute to the development of tools and resources
Requirements
- Solid theoretical background in communication
- Relevant training/qualification in the field
- Proven experience implementing AAC projects
- Skills for working with people with complex needs
- Ability to work with a pedagogical approach and collaboratively
- Prior experience working in a team
- State-recognized Level 6 qualification (e.g., occupational therapist, speech-language pathologist, psychomotor therapist, specialized educator, early childhood educator)
- Valid driving licence (Category B) required
