About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the design and implementation of complex data pipelines that support critical business operations and analytics initiatives.
  • Architect scalable data solutions that handle growing volumes of insurance data while maintaining performance and reliability.
  • Establish data quality frameworks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data across the organization.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on data engineering best practices, design patterns, and technical problem-solving.
  • Drive technical decisions on data architecture, tooling, and infrastructure to support evolving business needs.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-7 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
  • Advanced in Python, SQL, RDS, Snowflake, ETL/ELT, Coalesce, Airflow/Dagster, Data warehousing, Stream processing, and Data quality frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members.
  • Track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions that support business growth.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and priorities.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
