About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and implementation of complex data pipelines that support critical business operations and analytics initiatives.
- Architect scalable data solutions that handle growing volumes of insurance data while maintaining performance and reliability.
- Establish data quality frameworks and validation processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data across the organization.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on data engineering best practices, design patterns, and technical problem-solving.
- Drive technical decisions on data architecture, tooling, and infrastructure to support evolving business needs.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4-7 years of experience in data engineering or related field.
- Advanced in Python, SQL, RDS, Snowflake, ETL/ELT, Coalesce, Airflow/Dagster, Data warehousing, Stream processing, and Data quality frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Master's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring junior team members.
- Track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions that support business growth.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements and priorities.
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
