About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide managerial and technical oversight to one or more cross-functional engineering teams, including:
Provide performance coaching and technical coordination
Requirement clarification
Identify development best practices
Validate work accuracy and adherence to compliance controls
Identify training needs and talent development opportunities
Inter and cross-teams dependency coordination
Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to gather requirements
Collaborate with scrum master to deliver projects on time and within budget
Participate in release planning meetings

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role in an Agile environment
Analytical skills for evaluating information carefully and solving complex problems
Effective communication skills for overseeing engineers and working with other management personnel.
Effective communications to achieve team and business objectives
Detail-oriented for understanding complex systems and the ability to pay attention to details
Broad technical knowledge across relevant cross-functional tech domains – Front-end (Angular/Typescript), Backend (Kotlin), QA and QA automations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven track record of delivering fast-paced complex features/products
Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional, cross-organization teams to assemble project plans, secure commitments on deliverables, and lead the resolution of blocking issues
People management experience, managing engineers
Demonstrated passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust solutions.
Experience architecting and designing (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) new and existing systems
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent)
