About the role

  • Serve as the primary technical liaison between the intelligence customer, Groundswell, and Workday engineering teams.
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Workday solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and mission objectives.
  • Develop and manage secure, scalable Workday configurations and integrations, including Extend applications, Prism analytics, and data conversion strategies.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs that comply with federal and intelligence community standards.
  • Support security authorization processes, including understanding of FedRAMP and ATO-related documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize Workday performance, security, and integration behavior across the platform.
  • Guide delivery teams on best practices in Workday reporting, security modeling, data management, and platform extensibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR IT, cyber security, and cloud infrastructure to ensure technical alignment and compliance.
  • Stay up to date on Workday feature releases and emerging federal technology trends to inform ongoing development.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI
  • Local to the DMV area with ability to go on-site as needed
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture or technical implementation within federal, IC, or DoD environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or similar enterprise SaaS platforms, including technical domains such as Integrations, Security, Reporting, Extend, and Prism.
  • Deep understanding of federal security frameworks such as FedRAMP, RMF, and ATO processes.
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, particularly involving cybersecurity, cloud, and compliance teams .
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to convey complex technical topics to stakeholders of varying technical backgrounds.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
