About the role
- Support Agile SAP delivery on a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program.
- Facilitate team-level Agile ceremonies, coordinate dependencies, track performance and risks.
- Partner closely with the Product Owner and delivery leadership to ensure predictable, high-quality sprint execution.
- Champion SAFe best practices while proactively identifying issues, improving team efficiency, and maintaining transparency on schedule and delivery impacts.
- Organize and facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives for one or more Agile software development teams.
- Support weekly leadership syncs and quarterly planning meetings and retrospectives.
- Coordinate dependencies between different teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Identify and manage project risks, developing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Communicate with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Assist the Product Owner (PO) in maintaining the team backlog to organize and prioritize work.
- Monitor team performance and track key metrics.
- Be a champion of SAFe agile methodology and coach team members on Agile best practices.
- Support the project manager and/or program manager in creating, reviewing, and finalizing contract deliverables.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiencies.
- Monitor potential schedule and/or budget impacts and provide regular updates to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret level security clearance. Preference will be given to candidates who already possess an active DOD clearance.
- 2+ years Agile software development experience
- 5+ years of experience with Scrum specific to data and software engineering lifecycles
- 3+ years of experience with U.S. Army business process (i.e. AESIP, LMP, GCSS, GFEBs, Navy ERP, etc.) preferred
