About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and manage the organization's presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube
- Develop and execute monthly and quarterly social media content calendars
- Conceptualize platform-native content formats
- Publish, schedule, and manage content across channels
- Conceptualize, shoot (where required), and edit short-form video content
- Design visually compelling social media assets
- Ensure all visual content adheres to the organization's brand guidelines
- Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics
- Manage routine content updates on the organization's website using a CMS platform such as WordPress
- Translate research findings, field evidence, and program learnings into accessible, audience-appropriate content
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in communications, media studies, design, or related field
- 3–6 years of professional experience in social media management, digital communications, or content creation, preferably in the social impact space.
- Demonstrated proficiency in social media management across LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and YouTube
- Hands-on experience with video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Filmora, Canva, CapCut, or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of social media analytics tools, native platform dashboards, and/or third-party tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Zoho, or equivalent
- Basic understanding of CMS platforms, particularly WordPress, for website content management and updates
