Key responsibilities & impact

Provide project management, scheduling, analysis, testing, and implementation support for VA initiatives.
Lead planning, coordination, and execution of complex healthcare modernization projects.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that track systems development.
Oversee testing strategy development, integration testing, end-to-end testing, and readiness assessments.
Support VA project management leadership by coordinating multiple concurrent Payer EDI modernization initiatives.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is acceptable.
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Minimum of six (6) years of progressively responsible project management experience.
Minimum of four (4) years supporting federal healthcare programs, preferably within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or other federal healthcare agencies.
**Preferred Qualifications**
Program Management Professional (PgMP)
Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)
