About the role
- Plan, design, and run comprehensive test plans for new and existing complex features.
- Champion a shift-left testing philosophy and collaborate with developers to integrate testing earlier in the SDLC.
- Proactively identify and address potential quality issues at early stages of development.
- Conduct root cause analysis for identified bugs and collaborate on effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with developers and automation engineers to define, implement, and maintain automated tests.
- Define scenarios for automated tests, write and maintain automated test scripts, and ensure strong regression coverage.
- Work independently to execute assigned tasks and take ownership of the testing process.
- Mentor and guide team members in QA best practices, test design, and automation approaches.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of QA engineering experience.
- Proficiency in running manual tests for web applications (client and server-side).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to perform deep root cause analysis.
- Experience in writing test plans based on new feature requirements.
- In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and version release process.
- Hands-on experience with logs and monitoring tools.
- At least 1 year of experience working with test automation frameworks, preferably Playwright and TypeScript.
