Assist in determining donor suitability
Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain donor confidentiality
Respond to and assist with donor reactions
Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality
Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines
Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment
Work in a plasma center environment while following occupational safety and protective-equipment requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED
Superior customer service standards
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Interest in making a difference in the world
Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable
Patient and reliable
Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to listen to and understand information presented through spoken words and sentences
Ability to perform precise, coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
Hearing acuity essential
Correctable near and far vision requirements
Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day
Ability to bend and twist neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
