About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Conduct pre-donation medical screening
- Interact with donors and respond to customer needs
- Assess donor suitability and engage in set-up

Requirements
What you’ll need- High School diploma or GED
- Superior customer service standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interest in making a difference in the world
- Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Ability to work in a plasma center with potential exposure to biological fluids and infectious organisms
- Ability to use electrical office and laboratory equipment
- Ability to work in extreme cold below 32°F
- Ability to sit or stand for the entire shift
- Ability to bend and twist the neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
- Frequent hand and foot movement, including precise finger, hand and wrist coordination
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. lightly, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
- Hearing acuity essential
- Correctable near and far vision requirements
- Ability to comprehend, listen to, and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform complex tasks under variable and changing conditions
- Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
