Assist in determining donor suitability
Establish rapport with donors to ensure customer happiness and donor confidentiality
Respond to and assist with handling donor reactions
Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality
Set up, disconnect, and operate automated plasmapheresis machines
Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment
Work in a plasma center while following occupational safety and handling requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma or GED
Superior customer service standards
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Interest in making a difference in the world
Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable
Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
Ability to relate sensitive information to diverse groups
Work performed standing for 6 to 8 hours per day
Frequent hand, finger, wrist, foot, bending, twisting, reaching and walking movements
Light lifting of 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
Ability to work around biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms
Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F in a plasma freezer
Required use of protective eyewear, garments, gloves and cold-gear
Hearing acuity essential; correctable near and far vision and color perception required
