About the role

- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Interest in making a difference in the world
- Obtain required state licensures or certifications where applicable
- Patience and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment
- Exposure to biological fluids and potential infectious organisms
- Ability to use electrical office and laboratory equipment
- Ability to work in extreme cold below 32°F in a plasma freezer
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold gear
- Ability to sit or stand for the entire shift
- Ability to bend and twist the neck and waist for 1–2 hours per day
- Frequent hand and foot movement; ability to make fast, precise, coordinated finger, hand, and wrist movements
- Ability to lift 15 lbs. lightly, with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
- Ability to reach below shoulder height
- Essential hearing acuity
- Correctable near and far vision and specified color perception/discrimination
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to listen to and understand spoken information
- Ability to perform complex tasks under variable demands and changing conditions
