About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for clinical research, procurement, supply agreements, leases, commercial agreements, and vendor agreements
Manage claims and litigation involving personal injury, employment matters, and other business disputes
Provide legal support across industrial, commercial, and manufacturing areas
Work as part of a team of attorneys and contract professionals supporting Grifols’ North American business units, particularly R&D
Integrate legal advice with business goals and support cross-functional teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

J.D. from a well-respected academic institution required
Admission to a state bar is required
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in the biotech/pharmaceuticals industry and/or equivalent law firm experience
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Excellent ability to issue spot and integrate legal advice with business goals
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and small-team environments
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including concise communication
Knowledge of healthcare compliance laws and regulations, including anti-kickback statutes, government fraud and abuse, off-label promotion, and anticorruption laws is a plus but not required
Ability to perform the listed occupational demands, including frequent sitting and lifting up to 25 lbs
