About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Set up, operate, and clean process equipment used to separate, purify, fill, inspect, and package plasma-derived protein products
  • Clean and sanitize aseptic and non-aseptic processing areas
  • Prepare and sterilize filling and freeze-drying components, including vials, stoppers, and filling assemblies
  • Perform aseptic fills
  • Follow procedures, FDA regulations, corporate safety policies, and documentation requirements
  • Use touch screen Operator Interface Terminals
  • May perform freeze-drying (lyophilization) processes
  • Adhere to production schedules and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s degree, applicable certification, and/or military veteran status preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts supporting 24-hour, 7-day plant operations
  • Proactive, results-oriented approach and strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and ability to exercise good judgment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels in a team environment
  • Ability to work in clean-room manufacturing and warehouse environments
  • Ability to handle exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, electrical equipment, moving machinery, noise, dust, gas, fumes, steam, extreme temperatures, vibration, heights, uneven ground, and confined spaces
  • Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds for up to 6–8 hours per day, with a maximum lift of 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, squat, kneel, crawl, and perform frequent hand and foot movements
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, face shields, chemical suits, safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, and a respirator
