About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Set up, operate, and clean process equipment used to separate, purify, fill, inspect, and package plasma-derived protein products
Clean and sanitize aseptic and non-aseptic processing areas
Prepare and sterilize filling and freeze-drying components, including vials, stoppers, and filling assemblies
Perform aseptic fills
Follow procedures, FDA regulations, corporate safety policies, and documentation requirements
Use touch screen Operator Interface Terminals
May perform freeze-drying (lyophilization) processes
Adhere to production schedules and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree, applicable certification, and/or military veteran status preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Flexibility to work rotating shifts supporting 24-hour, 7-day plant operations
Proactive, results-oriented approach and strong attention to detail
Strong work ethic and ability to exercise good judgment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels in a team environment
Ability to work in clean-room manufacturing and warehouse environments
Ability to handle exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, electrical equipment, moving machinery, noise, dust, gas, fumes, steam, extreme temperatures, vibration, heights, uneven ground, and confined spaces
Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds for up to 6–8 hours per day, with a maximum lift of 75 pounds
Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, squat, kneel, crawl, and perform frequent hand and foot movements
Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, face shields, chemical suits, safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, and a respirator
Hearing acuity, color perception/discrimination, depth perception, and specified correctable vision
Ability to communicate and understand spoken and written information
Ability to perform complex tasks and meet production standards
