About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Set up, operate, and clean process equipment used to separate, purify, fill, inspect, and package plasma-derived protein products
- Clean and sanitize aseptic and non-aseptic processing areas
- Prepare and sterilize filling and freeze-drying components, including vials, stoppers, and filling assemblies
- Perform aseptic fills
- Follow procedures, FDA regulations, corporate safety policies, and documentation requirements
- Use touch screen Operator Interface Terminals
- May perform freeze-drying (lyophilization) processes
- Adhere to production schedules and standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree, applicable certification, and/or military veteran status preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts supporting 24-hour, 7-day plant operations
- Proactive, results-oriented approach and strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and ability to exercise good judgment
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels in a team environment
- Ability to work in clean-room manufacturing and warehouse environments
- Ability to handle exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, electrical equipment, moving machinery, noise, dust, gas, fumes, steam, extreme temperatures, vibration, heights, uneven ground, and confined spaces
- Ability to lift and carry 45 pounds for up to 6–8 hours per day, with a maximum lift of 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, climb, squat, kneel, crawl, and perform frequent hand and foot movements
- Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including protective eyewear, face shields, chemical suits, safety shoes, gloves, hearing protection, and a respirator
- Hearing acuity, color perception/discrimination, depth perception, and specified correctable vision
- Ability to communicate and understand spoken and written information
- Ability to perform complex tasks and meet production standards
