About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute local Medical Affairs strategies and provide scientific expertise to support business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders in Germany.
- Drive scientific exchange and gather valuable medical insights.
- Lead medical education, advisory boards, congress participation, and responses to medical enquiries.
- Support evidence generation initiatives.
- Ensure the scientific accuracy and compliance of medical and promotional materials.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage projects and budgets in compliance with company standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Medicine.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong scientific understanding of clinical research, medical literature and pharmaceutical development.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
- High scientific credibility and ethical standards.
- Experience working cross-functionally with medical, commercial and regulatory teams.
- Professional level of English, written and spoken.
- Proficiency with standard computer applications and digital tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- PhD, MD or equivalent advanced scientific qualification preferred.
