About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and execute local Medical Affairs strategies and provide scientific expertise to support business objectives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders in Germany.
  • Drive scientific exchange and gather valuable medical insights.
  • Lead medical education, advisory boards, congress participation, and responses to medical enquiries.
  • Support evidence generation initiatives.
  • Ensure the scientific accuracy and compliance of medical and promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Manage projects and budgets in compliance with company standards.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy or Medicine.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar Medical Affairs role within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong scientific understanding of clinical research, medical literature and pharmaceutical development.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
  • High scientific credibility and ethical standards.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with medical, commercial and regulatory teams.
  • Professional level of English, written and spoken.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications and digital tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • PhD, MD or equivalent advanced scientific qualification preferred.
