About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate needs and implement training and educational programs for the Sales Force and internal customers
- Assist with developing and executing live and virtual training programs for new and existing sales representatives
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Teams to develop educational programs for strategic and tactical business applications
- Implement tactics supporting the Product Strategic Plan
- Design, develop, and implement workshops for national and regional meetings and virtual training events
- Evaluate market research and industry trends on effective training mechanisms
- Design, develop, and facilitate live and virtual training courses
- Deliver educational materials for key internal and external customers
- Develop monthly informational updates, training workshops, and internal training resources
- Participate in task forces affecting field force success
- Assess, recommend, and purchase courseware packages and support courseware tool development
- Document and track training deliverables
- Assess content for compliance and instructional design integrity and make adjustments as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Business and/or Science preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively successful experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or medical sales and/or training
- Previous pharmaceutical or medical sales experience with healthcare providers
- Demonstrated training and mentoring skills
- Strong communication, presentation, and platform skills
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Teams and other virtual training and selling tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with e-learning and authoring technologies such as Articulate 360 and multimedia applications preferred
- Understanding of adult learning principles and implications preferred
- Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, including some evenings and weekends
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Frequent interaction with diverse groups and stakeholders
- Ability to build consensus and solve complex conceptual issues using abstract reasoning
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- Occasional travel within the United States and Canada
