About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform operational procurement tasks to ensure efficient and effective acquisition of goods and services
- Control purchase orders for accuracy and compliance with company requirements
- Evaluate products and suppliers and select high-quality, cost-effective options
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues for timely resolution
- Conduct cost comparisons and analysis to identify savings and efficiency opportunities
- Ensure compliance with procurement standards, company policies, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to align procurement activities with business strategies
- Maintain accurate and accessible procurement records and documentation
- Apply work rules and procedures, including GMP, PNT, INS, and BPL
- Complete required registers and follow quality, security, hygiene, and environmental rules
- Report incidents to the direct manager and perform lower-level duties when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement or a related role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in procurement software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Compliance with health and safety prevention measures
- Ability to follow work rules and procedures, including GMP, PNT, INS, and BPL
- Ability to maintain procurement records and documentation
