About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate pneumatic, hydraulic, low-voltage electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Perform field and bench calibration tasks
- Compile integrity analyses to ensure product effectiveness
- Determine impact of planned work, coordinate, and communicate with departments/clients
- Compile, enter data, and maintain all maintenance and calibration program information/documentation
- Ensure calibration standards are current and traceable to NIST
- Ensure all work is performed in full compliance with GMPs, SOPs, instructions, codes, regulations, and established safety standards
- Review and draft work instructions for calibration procedures
- Work as a team member to achieve all outcomes
- Perform other assigned duties
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment is an asset
- Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office
- Working knowledge of GMPs
- Good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation
- Good planning and organizational skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills
- Bilingual in French and English
- Experience in biologics manufacturing is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
