Continuous/Project Improvement Specialist – Senior
GrifolsContinuous Improvement Specialist in manufacturing supporting and driving improvement initiatives backed by data analysis. Partnering with cross-functional teams for optimization efforts.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide project management support within the department
- Partner with department SMEs and cross functional teams to perform analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization
- Collect, analyze and propose to department management relevant data to measure performance indicators, such as cycle time, yield, quality, and cost
- Propose and manage process improvement initiatives, methodologies, and best practices
- Maintain project schedules, including list of required deliverables, timeline, resources and driving cross functional team meetings to meet project requirements and execution
- Establish and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness and impact of improvement initiatives
- Regularly report on key performance indicators and present findings to department management
- Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance the understanding and adoption of continuous improvement principles and methodologies
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- BS/BA degree in a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of working in operations with experience in continuous improvement and/or project management
- Advanced experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to influence without authority and drive changes
- Preferred experience in a cGMP, FDA work environment
- Preferred knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt)
