About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives and provide project management support within the department
  • Partner with department SMEs and cross functional teams to perform analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization
  • Collect, analyze and propose to department management relevant data to measure performance indicators, such as cycle time, yield, quality, and cost
  • Propose and manage process improvement initiatives, methodologies, and best practices
  • Maintain project schedules, including list of required deliverables, timeline, resources and driving cross functional team meetings to meet project requirements and execution
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness and impact of improvement initiatives
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators and present findings to department management
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance the understanding and adoption of continuous improvement principles and methodologies
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree in a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of working in operations with experience in continuous improvement and/or project management
  • Advanced experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive changes
  • Preferred experience in a cGMP, FDA work environment
  • Preferred knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt)
