About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with department SMEs (e.g. Sr. Supervisors, TPS, etc.) and cross functional teams to perform thorough analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
Collect, analyze and propose to department management relevant data to measure performance indicators, such as cycle time, yield, quality, and cost.
Propose and manage process improvement initiatives, methodologies, and best practices.
Maintain project schedules, including list of required deliverables, timeline, resources and drive cross functional team meetings to meet project requirements and execution.
Establish and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness and impact of improvement initiatives.
Regularly report on key performance indicators and present findings to department management, providing insights and recommendations for further improvements.
Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance the understanding and adoption of continuous improvement principles and methodologies among employees.
Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/BA degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of working in operations with experience in continuous improvement and/or project management.
Advanced experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP).
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to influence without authority and drive changes.
Preferred experience in a cGMP, FDA work environment.
Preferred knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt).
