About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with department SMEs (e.g. Sr. Supervisors, TPS, etc.) and cross functional teams to perform thorough analysis to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for optimization.
  • Collect, analyze and propose to department management relevant data to measure performance indicators, such as cycle time, yield, quality, and cost.
  • Propose and manage process improvement initiatives, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Maintain project schedules, including list of required deliverables, timeline, resources and drive cross functional team meetings to meet project requirements and execution.
  • Establish and maintain performance metrics and dashboards to track the effectiveness and impact of improvement initiatives.
  • Regularly report on key performance indicators and present findings to department management, providing insights and recommendations for further improvements.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs to enhance the understanding and adoption of continuous improvement principles and methodologies among employees.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in continuous improvement methodologies.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS/BA degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of working in operations with experience in continuous improvement and/or project management.
  • Advanced experience with data analysis tools (MS Excel, JMP).
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to influence without authority and drive changes.
  • Preferred experience in a cGMP, FDA work environment.
  • Preferred knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma tools (Green Belt or Black Belt).
