About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the day-to-day operations of the lab to ensure optimal laboratory performance
Provide overall technical leadership, expertise, and support to the organization in validation and laboratory technologies
Develop, oversee and maintain a validated production environment
Write equipment, assay and process validation protocols; manage the execution of validation protocols
Ensure strict adherence to SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

MD with certification in blood banking/transfusion medicine, SBB(ASCP), CHS(ABHI) or advanced degree (PhD preferred) in related science (biology, chemistry, genomics)
Eight years of experience in a molecular testing laboratory; including a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
