About the role

  • Perform routine engineering tasks using foundational engineering principles
  • Complete small projects or assignments with limited scope under supervision
  • Communicate project updates and technical information in a timely manner
  • Prepare plans, designs (including 3D models), calculations, and cost estimates with oversight
  • Interpret engineering standards and apply sound engineering judgment to solve routine problems
  • Provide basic technical support with defined responsibility and accountability
  • Apply engineering expertise to develop solutions for production or project-related challenges

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience
  • At least 2 years of Biotech or Chemical industry experience (GMP experience preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
  • Biotech-related coursework is a plus
  • Plasma or protein processing knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with hygienic stainless-steel welding is beneficial
  • Hands-on technical experience (fabrication, mechanics, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, or Plant 3D is preferred
