About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provision and monitoring of data pipelines, troubleshooting, and handling data requests from the business units
- Operation and continuous improvement of our data architecture – from traditional SQL databases to modern cloud solutions with Microsoft Fabric and Azure
- Development of insightful dashboards and data models in Power BI
- Training of business users on analyses (Self-Service Analytics)
- Evaluation of new technologies and incremental advancement of the data landscape to meet future requirements such as AI and automation
- Close collaboration with our data specialists and the business units
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least two years of professional experience in data management, analytics, or engineering
- Ideally a completed degree in (business) computer science, data science, mathematics, or a comparable qualification
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, and data modeling
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and an understanding of enterprise-wide data flows
- Solid knowledge of Power BI and ideally initial experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or other cloud data platforms
- Enjoyment in clearly conveying technical topics to non-technical audiences
- Good German and English skills
