Further development of modern BI and reporting structures — including building automated dashboards and visualizations in Power BI to ensure maximum transparency
Preparation of sound analyses, actual-vs.-target comparisons and variance assessments as a basis for operational and strategic decisions
Active involvement in budgeting, forecasting and planning processes, and close collaboration with cost center managers as a business partner
Support with monthly, quarterly and annual closings and preparation of audit-relevant documentation for external audits
Development and maintenance of cost type, cost center and cost unit accounting, including optimization of cost calculations
Preparation of management presentations, decision papers and business cases that present complex issues clearly, concisely and understandably

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field
Initial practical experience in controlling or reporting desirable (e.g., internships, working student positions)
Very good knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word
Initial experience with Power Query, ETL, SQL, Power BI, databases or similar software is an advantage
Strong analytical skills and enjoyment working with numbers, data and facts
Structured, independent and reliable work style
Strong communication skills and the ability to present complex content in a clear and understandable way
